Series Description:

After Orson Welles' return from a film making trip to South America,
he hosted this series with co-star Carmen Miranda for CBS. The
series, created under the auspices of the CIA, presented dramas about
South America for a US audience. The first show was a tour of Brazil
and was followed by shows about the heroes and culture of South
American countries.

Log Comments:

This log is possible due to information found on the Internet site of
Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, specifically data obtained
from the "GUIDE TO THE ORSON WELLES MATERIALS IN THE LILLY LIBRARY".
The library contains both scripts and audio recordings of the series.

I've used titles from the library for the log. Jerry Haendiges' log
(see "Other Logs or Books" section) lists different, but more
descriptive, titles. The title for Jan 24, 1943 is from his log, as
the Lilly Library had no listing for this show.
